My name is Erica and I am a family, child, and newborn lifestyle photographer in the DeWitt, Michigan area. I have always enjoyed photography and art; I remember taking my first art lesson from a family friend before I was even in 1st grade. Honestly, it is the subject that got me through school! In college, I made it my focus and dreamed one day to have a business. Well…after some moves to a few states and other life adventures, I was finally able to do just that!
The name… Sweet Olive.
I come from a family of women who love to be crafty. Any moment we are together we are sharing ideas or results from our latest projects. At the head of our family was my sweet grandma, Olive. She was never far from her sewing machine and loved to quilt. I have many fond memories of spending time with her and looking at the quilting projects she was working on. I was blessed to have worked on a t-shirt blanket quilt with her, and amazingly, I received it two days before she passed away. Without her influence on her three daughters, art would not be such a passion in my family or in me.
